Performance

All Lincoln Navigator models are equipped with a 3.5-liter, turbocharged six-cylinder engine that delivers up to 450 horsepower. The Lincoln Aviator offers the base 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine for 400 horsepower or the hybrid that combines the V6 with a 13.6-kW-hr battery and electric motor for 494 horsepower. All engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior

The Lincoln Navigator has a more boxy appearance compared to the Lincoln Aviator. The Lincoln Navigator has a more robust, athletic appearance compared to the Lincoln Aviator, which has crisper lines. The grilles on the two models also differ in size and appearance.

Interior Space

Being smaller makes the Lincoln Aviator's interior smaller too. The difference is particularly notable in the third-row seats, which does not offer as much legroom compared to the Lincoln Navigator. The narrower width of the Lincoln Aviator makes it more difficult to reach the third-row seating when having to squeeze between the smaller SUVs seats and the pillar unless the second-row is equipped with captain's chairs. The Lincoln Aviator is available to Parma drivers in the Standard, the Reserve, and the Lincoln Black Label trims. The plug-in hybrid comes in the Grand Touring and the Lincoln Black Label models. The Lincoln Navigator comes in Standard, the Select, the Reserve, and the Lincoln Black Label trims. The L level also features the Select, the Reserve and the Lincoln Black Label trims.
